Vapor IX tributes the 2010 Superfly
The final of four Vapor IX Fast Forward releases — a 2014 tribute to the Mach Purple Vapor Superfly II worn at South Africa 2010.
The Mercurial Vapor has run since 2002 as Nike's speed-first low-cut silo. The Vapor IX's 2014 Fast Forward series revisited four iconic Mercurial World Cup colourways in modern Vapor IX construction.
The Fast Forward 10 Edition drew its Metallic Mach Purple and Total Orange directly from the Vapor Superfly II worn at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, closing a four-chapter tribute series released ahead of Brazil 2014.
