The adidas F50 adiZero launched in 2010 as the world’s lightest football boot at 165 grams. Built around a SprintSkin upper and carbon SprintFrame chassis, it established a new benchmark for speed boot construction.
Messi wore the F50 adiZero at Barcelona through the 2011-12 Champions League campaign — his dominant season as Barcelona claimed the Liga title. Thomas Müller also wore the generation at Bayern Munich in the same period.
