The Nike Mercurial Vapor I Chrome/Lime were made in limited number of 4,600 pairs in the world. The Mercurial Vapor was the first Nike football boot to break the 200 gram mark, it had a stitchless, one-piece synthetic upper and was designed and built for speed. The iconic striker himself Ronaldo wore a pair of these in World Cup 2002 by scoring two goals against Germany in the finals.
Released in 1998, the adidas Predator Accelerator was the fourth incarnation of the Predator series. The adidas Predator Accelerator was the first Predator boot to include asymmetrical loop lacing. This new system provided a larger and cleaner kicking surface. The new lacing system combined with redesigned rubber vamps, which were less pronounced so more boot surface area came into contact with the ball and gave a nice swerve to the ball. A legend who really was a key wearer of Accelerator was Zinedine Zidane in World Cup in France 1998.
“Back in 2002 Nike released their first ever Vapor of Kangaroo Leather for supreme ball feel. The sculptured arch provides stability and great in shoe comfort.
